DESCRIPTION:You need to be approved for the main Boree Log event to attend 
 these trips. If you get rejected then you can sign up for another trip\, t
 his just makes it easier for volunteer trip leaders. Please be aware that 
 as the weather is unpredictable\, trip leaders may need to alter trips acc
 ordingly.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nPlease read the entire post and answer all questio
 ns before signing up.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nHi all!\n\nNadav and I (Alfie) are run
 ning a trip on Saturday of Boree Log to Bell Creek Canyon at Mt Wilson. De
 spite this canyon having no abseils\, it will be a very long day (10 hours
 )\, with lots of swimming\, scrambling and sliding around on wet rocks.\n\
 nParticipants need to be competent swimmers\, good at handling cold water\
 , and prepared (mentally) for some long walks in and out of the canyon.\n\
 nInfo about the canyon can be found here!\n\n\n\n 	Canyoning gear provided
  at Boree Log event (If you have personal gear it is helpful to bring this
  along):\n\n 	Drybag*\n 	Wetsuit*\n 	Helmet*\n\n\n 	Canyoning gear not pro
 vided:\n\n 	Emergency blanket (You must carry one on every club canyoning 
 trip. You must buy one from the gear cupboard for $5 cash or most outdoor 
 stores)\n 	Backpack that can fit ALL your gear in and that can get wet.\n 
 	Lilo or inflatable tube to float down the river on\, be prepared for it t
 o pop and make sure it is lightweight as you will need to carry it in and 
 out.\n\n\n\n\n 	Clothing:\n\n 	Enclosed shoes with good grip\n 	Wool socks
  or Neoprene Socks\n 	Boardshorts to wear on top of wetsuit (compulsory to
  protect the club wetsuits)\n 	Thermals to wear under your wetsuit (option
 al\, but helpful)\n 	NO COTTON!\n 	Raincoat\n\n\n 	Food:\n\n 	1.5L of wate
 r in bottles.\n 	Substantial lunch (pack it in a waterproof container\, an
 d make sure it’s vaguely crush-proof)\n 	Snacks (chocolate or something 
 nice to share!)\n\n\n 	Miscellaneous:\n\n 	Any personal medicine (asthma p
 uffer\, Epipen etc)\n 	A pair of thongs/flipflops to leave in the car (sin
 ce your shoes will get wet)\n 	Phone or camera for photos (optional\, and 
 only if you’re prepared for it to get wet if your drybag leaks! Bring a 
 ziploc bag or two to protect it)\n 	Head Torch\n\n\n\nIf you have any ques
