DESCRIPTION:Alfie and I (Margot) will be running a trip on Saturday for Bor
 ee log to do Upper Bowens South Canyon.\n\nThe canyon itself is a beauty\,
  but also moderately long\, so this might be a long day – perhaps 7-10hr

 p\;\n\nYou will need:\n\n 	To be keen and ready for a longish day\n 	A h
 eadtorch\n 	A dry bag*\n 	A backpack to fit all your gear and can get wet*
 \n 	Wetsuit (preferably 5mm)*\n 	Rain jacket\n 	Thermals\n 	Wool socks\n 	
 Shoes with grip\n 	Helmet*\n 	Harness*\n 	Descender (preferably an 8 style
 )*\n 	Personal safety*\n 	Locking Carabiner*\n 	An emergency blanket (can
  be bought from the gear cupboard – $5)\n 	Food and water\n\n*Can be bor
 rowed from the club supplies but if you have your own bring it as supplies
  may be limited\n\nYou need to be approved for the main Boree Log event to
  attend these trips. Please sign up for only ONE trip per day. If you get 
 rejected you can then sign up for another trip\, this just makes it easier
  for volunteer trip leaders. Please be aware that as the weather is unpred
 ictable\, trip leaders may need to alter trips accordingly.\n\nTo let me k
