Participants will navigate through a beautiful mix of nati ve eucalypt forests and mature pine plantations\, both featuring a remarka bly open understory. The terrain varies from flat with subtle features to steeper hills with \;well-defined \;spurs and gullies. The \;c ourse has been set with navigational challenges tailored for both novice a nd experienced teams alike. Whether you plan to walk or run\, the open ter rain makes moving through this unique landscape an absolute pleasure. The area is home to some amazing wildlife\, and if you are lucky\, you might s pot wombats in full daylight\, or greater gliders after dark. \;\n\n\n \n\n\n \;\n\nCourse times\n\n Saturday 12:00: Mass start of 6 hour an d 12 hour events.\n Saturday 18:00: The 6 hour event closes.\n Saturday midnight: The 12 hour event closes.\n Timings of map availability\, novic e briefing\, final briefing and prize givings will be confirmed closer to the event date.\n\n \;\n\nTransport\n\n\n\nThe event takes place at th e Gurnang State Forest.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Sydney: Approx 3.5 hours drive.\n Boree Log: Approx 1.5h drive.\n\nWe will be driving to and from the BL c ampground if you want a lift from there be sure to indicate so in the comm ents.
