DESCRIPTION:This year's PUBGAINE! is going to be based around the City an d Inner West\, with the Hash House being located in Victoria Park at the B BQ's just next to City Rd.\n\n \;\n\n\n\nFor all of you who don't kno w what I'm talking about\, a PUBGAINE! is a portmanteau of 'Pub-crawl' a nd 'Rogaine'. In the former\, good times are had. In the latter teams of 3 -5 race around to collect Control Points with the aid of map and compass . Combining these activities makes for a ludicrously good time!\n\nThe rul es are simple. Each team is given a map with a list of pubs marked on it. Each pub is worth a designated number of point based roughly on the diffic ultly of reaching it. You are allowed to move by foot\, or on public trans port\, but no cars\, taxi's or bicycles. Team must remain together at all times.\n\nThe PUBGAINE! itself will begin at  6:30p.m. There will be a w arm-up BBQ and registration from 5pm\, so come along at any time and get s ome food when you register. Rego will close at 6:20 before a mass start at 6:30. Maps will be handed out as you register your team. All teams must be back at the Hash House no later than 9:30\, and a 10 point penalty per minute late will given. If you cannot make it in time after work/uni\, you may join a team out on the course if you get them to register on your beh alf.\n\nBonus points will be awarded on the following basis:\n\n1. Each te am member carrying a compass\, worn around their neck (+20 points)\n\n2. E ach team member wearing a head torch\, you may turn it off when entering a pub (+20 points)\n\n3. Each team member dressed in thermals and shorts (b ottoms mandatory and tops encouraged) (+50 points) (-50 points for cotton leggings)\n\n4. Each team member drinks a beverage at a pub - proven with a receipt (double points for that pub)\n\n5. Teams with at least 1 non-cl ub member or member who joined less than 6 months ago (+50 points for the first\,and +30 points for each additional)\n\nIf you have any questions\, please contact me\, I am happy to help.
