SUMMARY:Outdoor Kayak Pool Session - Tuesday 12th
DESCRIPTION:Hi All\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nPool sessions are back\, kind of. UNSW is 
 still sorting out new ownership of the pool\, but we have warm water temps
  and long sunlight hours so its time for a pool session outdoors.\n\n&nbsp
 \;\n\nLiam and I (Bennett) will be running a pool session at Manly Dam thi
 s Tuesday the 12th (exact time tba with the people accepted onto this trip
 ).\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nFor anyone not familiar with UNSWOC pool sessions. These 
 sessions aim to teach you the fundamentals of rolling a whitewater kayak f
 rom a capsized position - a crucial move for any actual whitewater paddlin
 g. Normally we would run these at night at the UNSWOC pool\, but this one 
 will be held in the flat freshwater of Manly Dam (lower northern beaches\,
  treated as part of greater Sydney as per current Covid guidelines).\n\n&n

 me to be confirmed with those attending\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nWhat to bring:\n\n 	
 Swimmers\n 	Towel\n 	Shoes that can get wet\n 	Goggles (optional but can h
 elp while learning)\n 	Wetsuit (optional\, the Dam was quite warm last wee
 k but water temps do change. Let us know if you need to borrow one and we'
 ll see if we can organise that by Tuesday)\n 	Snacks\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nAs with
  any club trip\, please do not attend if you are feeling unwell\, just let
  us know you won't be able to attend and follow relevant health advice. Th
 is trip will be weather dependent as well as Covid regulation dependent.\n
 \n&nbsp\;\n\nFinal note\, as this is the first outdoor session we have run
  in a long time\, sign up preference may be given to those who have alread
 y attended a pool session in the past\, rather than first-timers. Don't wo
 rry\, if this session goes well there will be many more just like it for n
