DESCRIPTION:If you’re new to rogaining or need a refresher on navigation 
 skills\, this is for you! It’ll also be a good place to find people for 
 your team :)\n\nEmily and Linna will be running a workshop in preparation 
 for the upcoming Paddy Pallin Rogaine taking place on Sunday the 16th of 
 June.\n\nThe workshop will cover route planning and key navigation skills
  in the context of Rogaining\, including:\n\n 	What is Rogaining?\n 	Rogai
 ning strategy and gear\n 	How to read a topographic map\n 	Bearings and co
 nverting them - grid and magnetic\n 	Pacing - how many steps you take to w
 alk 100m\n\n\n\nWe’ll be doing theory in a classroom at UNSW Law Buildin
 g (room TBA) then heading outside to take some bearings and pacings.\n\nPl
