For anyone who hasn’t been t o a previous Boree Log\, get ready a weekend of camping\, partying\, and o utdoors fun!\n\n \;\n\nDue to the closure of Mt Wilson Road from this Friday\, Boree Log in term 3 cannot be held at Cathedral of Ferns Campgrou nd as has been done since the dawn of time (see https://www.bmcc.nsw.gov.a u/mount-wilson-road-mount-wilson).\n\nAdditionally\, due to the closure of roads such as Victoria Pass and Wolgan Road and rising fuel prices making locations like Nowra infeasible\, we have decided to leverage NSW's high speed regional rail network.\n\n \;\n\nItinerary:\n\nPlease note that due to train schedules\, we can only offer one day of activities\n\nFriday 16 October:\n\n Meet at Central station at 09:00am.\n Take the 09:35 tr ain to Moree\, arriving at 6pm.\n The train runs once a day and it's an 8 hour drive so don't miss it!\n\nSaturday 17 October:\n\n Everyone will s plit into smaller groups for trips! \n In the arvo we will all return to the campground and everyone will get into their costumes for the evening activities\n Various games\, free dinner\, and punch of punishment!\n\nSu nday 18 October:\n\n Take the 08:00am train back to Sydney.\n\n \;\n\ nTrip Schedule:\n\nA full trip schedule will be posted later\, but an indi cative schedule is below:\n\nBouldering: Available at Glen Innes\, a 3 hou r coach ride away. Glen Innes and surrounds\, Bouldering | theCrag\n\nRock Climbing: Trad Climbing available at Mt Kaputar\, a 1 hour train ride awa y. Kaputar\, Trad climbing | theCrag\n\nHiking: A lovely circuit incorpora ting waterfalls and great views\, a 4 hour coach ride away. Gibraltar-Wash pool World Heritage walk | NSW National Parks\n\nTrail Running: A short 66 4km route with 12km of elevation gain\, all the way back to Sydney. Explor e Moree to Sydney | AllTrails\n\nWhitewater Kayaking: A beautiful 139km ro ute along the Clarence River. Put in at Jackadgery\, a 5 hour coach ride a way. Take out at Grafton Station. Clarence Canoe and Kayak Trail - Clarenc e Valley\n\nCanyoning: A spectacular canyon at Leura\, a 13 hour train rid e away.
