SUMMARY:More trad by popular demand - SATURDAY trad trip!
DESCRIPTION:Hey there!\n\nPatrick\, Cameron\, Scott and I (Maria) are leadi
 ng a TRAD CLIMBING day trip this SATURDAY 29th FEB to the Blue Mountains. 
 Specific location to be announced\, but it’ll be to Mount Piddington or 
 Mount Boyce.\n\n 	The plan: Meeting at UNSW (Gear Cupboard) on Saturday 
 early morning. Drive to the mountains (we need cars to carpool\, so if yo
 u have a car write it in the comments and you’ll get preference). Spend
  a sick day top-roping\, learning how to climb trad (traditional) climbing
 \, and enjoying really pretty views. Finish climbing at sunset (bring a he
 adtorch!) and drive back to UNSW on Saturday night.\n\n\n\nPhoto – The 
 Tassie crew crushing some trad lines!\n\n 	The gear: Bring your own gear 
 OR go visit the gear guys at the gear cupboard (UNSW\, don’t forget a
  cash deposit) and grab yourself a\n\n 	Helmet\n 	Harness\n 	Locking carab
 iner + belay device (ATC)\n 	Climbing shoes\n 	Chalk bag if you like\n\n\n
  	Is this trip suitable for you? Ideally\, this trip is for people who h
 ave a little bit of climbing experience and are keen to learn crack climbi
 ng and trad placements. Minimum level top rope grade 14-15 to make the mos
 t of it. If you know how to lead belay and lead competently\, you’re mor
 e than welcome to join! So please\, briefly write YOUR climbing experience
  in the comments.\n 	What to bring:\n\n 	Food and water for the day (it ge
 ts hot\, at least 2 L)\n 	Personal meds if needed\n 	Appropriate clothing 
 for climbing and a jacket if it gets cold\n 	A decent size backpack to fit
  all the climbing gear\n 	Enclosed shoes for the approach\, it’s very st
