 u who wrote about what the gym means to you and our community. You've help
 ed make a big difference.\n\n\n\nHey Everyone\,\n\nIt's with heavy hearts 
 that the club will be saying goodbye to the Ledge Climbing centre this yea
 r. The Sydney University Board has made a final decision to keep the gym o
 pen until January 31st\, then moving forward a closure date will be review
 ed fortnightly. There will be announcements via our socials when this occu
 rs.\n\nThank you to all those who wrote letters and the 851 of you who sig
 ned our petition. Almost 500 of you who signed shared the impact and impor
 tance of the ledge and we are very much appreciative of your time and effo
 rt in responding.\n\nThis gym has been such an important part of our commu
 nity for many years now. It has been the perfect place to make new friends
  and see old ones\, have a climb and learn new skills\, and even to get ro
 ck hard abs and a core of steel (thank you Bennett\, Daniel and Caitlin fo
 r all the core sessions).\n\n\n\nThank you to Pete for making the gym what
  it is today and putting up with our shenanigans over the years. It wouldn
 't have been the same without him. We'd also like to thank Veronique\, Tom
 \, Caitlin\, Gabriel and Tahlia for all their hard work\, and amazing sett
 ing.\n\nNow for the bittersweet fun stuff:\n\n&nbsp\;\nThe Ledge Farewell 
 BBQ!\nThe UNSW Outdoors Club would like to invite you to come for a climb 
 and free snag at the Ledge on Thursday January 30th at 6pm! Even if you've
  never been to the Ledge or climbed before\, now's your chance! Bring your
  friends and let's have a good time!\n\nThis is a combined event with othe
 r outdoor and climbing clubs so be sure to harass your friends from there
