SUMMARY:Learn to Lead at the Soft Parade
DESCRIPTION:This Sunday\, Brendan and I will be running learn to lead works
 hop outdoors!! We will be headed to the Soft Parade in the Blue Mountains\
 , a great beginner crag with a decent amount of stuff we can hop on to pra
 ctice our skills. We can spend as much time practicing certain skills as p
 eople are keen. This session will be aimed primarily at those looking to t
 ransition from indoor climbing to outdoor self-sufficiency.\n\n[caption id

 rip in 2021 at the Soft Parade. Great day!![/caption]\n\n\n\nSome of the s
 kills we’re aiming to cover include lead belaying\, clipping\, falling a
 nd other helpful tips and tricks. We acknowledge that it will be difficult
  to cover everything required for you to go outside and start climbing by 
 yourself\, but hopefully\, this can be a good step in the right direction.
 \n\n&nbsp\;\n\nPlease bring the following:\n\n 	Harness*\n 	Helmet*\n 	Cli
 mbing shoes*\n 	Belay device + locking carabiner* (e.g. ATC\, GriGri)\n 	S
 afety sling + locking carabiner* (for cleaning routes)\n 	Chalk\, if you h
 ave*\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n*Gear can be borrowed at the Gear Cupboard at UNSW duri
 ng Gear Night (usually Thursday evening)\, please check Facebook for the
  latest details\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nBring along whatever relevant gear you curre
