DESCRIPTION:This is for anyone who is new to the club and wants/needs to le
 arn how to abseil (and general cliff safety). Abseiling is a compulsory ba
 sic skill for a lot of outdoors activities including Climbing\, Canyoning 
 and even Kayaking if you are a total bad-ass.\n\nThere is a small abandone
 d quarry in Maroubra that we will be setting ropes up at. It is easy acces
 sable from uni by bus or bike. If there is interest\, I will lead a peleto
 n from uni to the quarry on Wednesday afternoon - post up on the facebook 
 page if you're interested.
