 N*\n\nHi all!\n\nThis skills session is targeted at people who want to bec
 ome a sea or flatwater kayaking trip leader\, or if you wish to rent the c
 lub boats for personal use. Spaces will largely depend on the number of ca
 rs we have available with either roof racks or drivers willing to use the 
 club soft racks. Please add your kayaking experience and why you wish to a
 ttend in the comment tab below. If you have a car\, please also comment if
  it has roof racks or if you are happy to use soft racks.\n\nThe skills se
 ssion will run for most of the day. We will meet at the UNSW Tramsheds at 
 7:30 AM and hope to conclude around 3:30 PM. If you don't know where that 
 is\, here is a pin drop. From the Tramsheds we will drive to Kyeemagh to b
 e in the water most of the day. The skills we hope to cover are:\n\n 	Corr
 ect handling and loading of boats onto cars\n 	The club gear available for
  use\n 	Towing\n 	Heel hook rescue\n 	X-rescue\n 	Rescuing a trapped or un
 conscious paddler (Hand of God rescue)\n 	Cleopatra's Needle rescue\n 	Usi
 ng a paddle float for self rescue\n\nFor those who have been to pool sessi
 ons\, we can also cover:\n\n 	Re-entry rolls - assisted and unassisted\n 	
 T-rescues\n\nWhat to Bring:\n\n 	Swimmers +/ wetsuit\n 	Towel\n 	Food\n 	W
 ater\n 	Hat\n 	Sunscreen\n 	Dry clothes\n 	Wet shoes *optional\n 	Dry shoe
 s\n 	Fuel money for your driver\n\nAll kayaking gear will be sourced at th
 e Tramsheds. If you need a club wetsuit it is your responsibility to sourc
 e one from the gear night week 2. We will be in the water almost all day.
