Have you always wanted to kayak down waterfalls? Or did you swim at the Snowy River Extreme Race this year? If the answer is yes to any of these come to our pool sessions and practice or learn to roll!\n\n \;\n\nSo what is a po ol session? Well\, essentially whitewater kayaking can be inherently dange rous especially if you flip over and can’t roll up again. These sessions are there to teach you the basic skills required to stay safe on a river. We will mainly focus on rolling but we can also teach you various other k ayaking skills if you are interested. Once you have a firm grasp of these skills\, you’ll be invited on various whitewater trips and have access t o the whitewater kayaks.\n\n \;\n\nWhen and where:\n\n We will meet a t the Gear Cupboard (near the BBQs at Sam Cracknell Pavilion) at 6:30pm.\n From there we will carry the gear over to the UNSW pool for a 7:00pm sta rt in the water.\n We will be out of the water by 9:00pm and we will be d one with packup by 9:30pm latest.\n\nCost:\n\n You will have to pay your pool entry to the club in cash.
