DESCRIPTION:Andrew and I are running a beginner friendly overnight hiking t
 rip from Katoomba to Wentworth falls via Mt Solitary and the Ruined Castle
 .\nWe will start walking at about 9:30am on Saturday. Andrew can give peop
 le a lift from UNSW contact him on 0439 735 393 for the details. If you ar
 e coming in from the south or south-west I can give you a lift\, contact m
 e on 0450 228 081 to sort out details. If neither of these lift options wo
 rk for you\, we can pick people up from Katoomba station at about 9am.\n\n
 What to pack: (Note * - means you can borrow this at gear night on Wednesd
 ay if you don't have your own)\n-*Hiking pack (that fits all of the follow
 ing)\n\n-*Tent (or organise to share with someone)\n\n-*Sleeping bag (it c
 ould be as cold as 0 degrees!)\n\n-Sleeping mat (you can get a cheap foam 
 one from most $2 shops or Anaconda)\n\n-Warm clothes\, thermals if you hav
 e them\n\n-Raincoat\n\n-Good shoes: (hiking boots=excellent!\, runners=goo
 d\, volleys/vans/converse=poor choice\, thongs= you're a moron)\n\n-Swimme
 rs (optional)\n\n-Toilet paper\n\n-Toiletries\n\n-Sunscreen/hat\n\n-Head t
 orch (or flashlight is better than nothing)\n\n-First aid kit (If you have
  one)\n\n-5L of water ( THERE IS NO WATER WHERE WE WILL CAMP)\n-Breakfast 
 (for Sunday)\n-Lunch (for both days)\n-Mug/bowel\n-Knife/spoon/fork\n-Snac
 ks\n\nIf you have no dietary needs\, Andrew and I will cook dinner and we 
 can all share the cost. Otherwise\, please bring your own dinner and a pot
  and stove to cook it.
