SUMMARY:Intro to Hiking - Cape Banks
DESCRIPTION:Want to come on some of the harder hikes this semester but stil
 l feel like a beginner? This is a perfect stepping stone to learn some new
  skills required for intermediate hikes and some skills for other higher l
 evel outdoor adventures.\n\nWe will start at the gear cupboard at Sam Crac
 knell Pavilion at 2pm. We will cover topics such as gear\, packing\, food\
 , navigation\, safety\, and first aid kits but also feel free to ask other
  hiking related questions!\n\nAfter that the fun will start\, around 3pm w
 e will head to La Perouse by bus and we will do the Cape Banks walk we mig
 ht even see some whales as the sun sets! You will be using your new skills
  to all lead the walk together. Wear enclosed shoes\, warm clothes\, and b
 ring some snacks\, water\, a raincoat and a head torch if you have one. We
  will be finishing up in the dark for some extra practice to test those ne
 w navigation skills.\n\nGet ready for some adventures!\n\n*Note: If you wo
 uld only like to join for either the training or the walk feel free to do 
 so but comment which half you will be attending in the comments when you r
 egister so I know you are coming.
