As Jayden now lives in the Blueys and I am in the Northern Beaches we’ll need help with driving people up and back.\n\nThis is the hike we’ll be doing\, we’ll be doing from Scenic Railway to Mt Solitary and return fr om there. (We’ll be making camp on the top of Mount Solitary at Singa-J ingawell campsite\, so it’ll potentially be windy and cold)!\n\nIt’s n ot a massively long hike (about 27km total) but Good fitness and overnig ht hiking experience are required as we will be covering pretty rugged te rrain and there is no visible track in places. This means if you have any recent (past few months) injuries or niggles please let us know.\n\nIn th e comments please let me know what hikes you’ve done\, why you’re kee n for this hike\, and what your favourite trail snack is. Also let us know if you have a car and where you are based as we’ll need some extras.\n\ nYou’ll need:\n\n Hiking pack\n Tent (or someone to share with)\n Sle eping bag &\; mat\n Food for two days – don’t forget lots of hikin g snacks to share with your grateful trip leaders\n WATER (bring at least 4L\, as we’re in drought so no guarantee of anywhere to fill up)\n War m clothes (thermals are essential\, it’s might be sub-zero overnight)\n Comfortable shoes (these should be hiking boots or trail runners only!\n Stove! There have been lots of recent fire warnings so don’t expect a c amp fire to cook your food\n Headtorch\n Toiletries etc. - this includes TP and the dreaded pooper scooper (for digging holes)\n Sunblock\n\nIf y ou’re missing any gear please comment on it as we may have to send you t o the gear shed for it.\n\n \;\n\nThanks to Stephen Roche for the temp late.\n\n \;\n\nP.S.
