SUMMARY:[FULL] Intermediate Overnight Hike – Corang Arch River Loop
DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nPhoto cred: Tom Brennan\n\n\n\nCome join us (Lloyd\,
  Liam and Matthew) for an overnight hike this Easter weekend to Corang Arc
 h in Morton National Park.\n\nWe’ll be leaving from Sydney Saturday (30/
 03) morning and driving back to Sydney Sunday night (31/03).\n\nTRIP PLAN:
 \n\nDay 1: We will be starting at Wog Wog Campsite and head to Barrumbeet 
 Brook\, where we will be making camp under caves if there is room\, howeve
 r also be prepared to camp out in the open as it may be potentially windy 
 and cold!\n\nDay 2: We will loop back and return to Wog Wog Campsite and d
 rive back to Sydney.\n\nIt’s not a massively long hike (about 24km total
 ) but good fitness and overnight hiking experience are required as we w
 ill be covering pretty rugged terrain and there is no visible track in pla
 ces. This means if you have any recent (past few months) injuries or nig
 gles please let us know.\n\nIn the sign-up comments\, please let us know:
 \n\n(1) What overnight hikes you’ve done\, \n\n(2) Why you’re keen for
  this hike\, and \n\n(3) What your favourite trail snack is. \n\n(4) Also

 , double\, triple check you have all the items on this list BEFORE leaving
  Sydney.\n\nGear can be borrowed from the gear cupboard if you don’t hav
 e your own (see Facebook for gear cupboard opening time – you must go ge
 t this stuff yourself and don’t forget your cash deposit!).\n\nYou’ll 
 need:\n\n 	Hiking pack\n 	Tent (or someone to share with)\n 	Sleeping bag 
 &amp\; mat\n 	Hike poles (optional)\n 	Food for two days – don’t forge
 t lots of hiking snacks to share with your grateful trip leaders.\n 	WATER
  (bring at least 4L\, as there is no guarantee of anywhere to fill up)\n 	
 Warm clothes (thermals are essential\, it might be 10 degrees overnight\, 
 no cotton).\n 	Rain jacket\n 	Gaiters (optional)\n 	Comfortable shoes (the
 se should be hiking boots or trail runners only!) Sunscreen and Hat\n 	Any
  personal medication you might normally carry with you.\n 	Stove! (optiona
 l) There have been lots of recent fire warnings so don’t expect a campfi
 re to cook your food.\n 	Headtorch (with spare batteries)\n 	Toiletries et
 c. – this includes toilet paper and the dreaded pooper scooper (for digg
 ing holes).\n 	Emergency blanket (can be purchased from the club for $5
  or from any outdoor store)\n\nHOW DO I COME ALONG:\n\nContact us directly
