DESCRIPTION:Hello!\n\nIt's been barely half a year but our last Interclub S tory Night was such a success\, we're bringing it back for round 2!\n\nWhe n: Wednesday 28th of October (which happens to be exactly six months after the last one).\n\nTickets close Sunday 18th October\n\nWhere: The Flodge (or the UTS lecture theatre again in case something happens)\n\nWhat is an Interclub Story Night?\n\nBasically\, we've gotten together with UTS and USYD's outdoors clubs to listen to members of our clubs tell cool stories about the adventures they’ve been on recently. Last time\, the presentat ions ranged from hiking in Nepal to Canyoning in Taiwan\, and many more in -between.\n\nGrab a drink and kick back to these stories\, and we'll also be providing lots of sides and snacks :)\n\nWhat’s different this time?\ n\nLast time\, most of the stories were about major overseas adventures. W hile these were awesome\, shorter stories about local trips can also be gr eat fun\, so we’re encouraging presentations of both types this time. Al so\, we’ll be welcoming a guest speaker Brendon Flannagan (a key member of the Australian School of Mountaineering)\, to give a presentation about the journey of writing his new book The Australian Climbing Handbook. The Club Library also has a copy of this book\, if you were interested.\n\nTi meline?\n\nThe night will follow this (very) rough structure:\n\n 5:30pm doors open.\n 6:00pm short stories about local trips start.\n 6:45pm Bre ndon’s presentation.\n 7:00pm food and chat break.\n 7:30pm longer sto ries about bigger adventures.\n 8:30pm wrap up the presentations\, people are welcome to sit around and socialise a bit longer.\n\n \;\n\n  \;\n\nThere are two ways you can participate in this event:\n\n(You can st ill join even if your membership is expired!)\n\nListen to some sick stori es 🍿\n\nBuy your ticket at this link. People love tension\, drama\, funny moments\, unique experience s\, and spectacular photos. But make it your own\, and be creative! If you were on this adventure with a friend\, you’re more than welcome to pres ent together.
