DESCRIPTION:Hey all\,\n\nI'm thinking I'd like to just wander off into the 
 bush behind camp on Saturday and go exploring.\n\nI have a few ideas in mi
 nd (Red Rocks\, Cooks Cliff-Baldy traverse\, some interesting looking spot
 s on satellite photos in the area) that we can decide on the day\, based o
 n the weather\, and what people are excited on.\n\n\n\n(Image credit Dave 
 Noble whose trips are providing some inspiration for this)\n\nThe distance
  should not be huge\, less than 10km\, and I like to be back in camp by 3p
 m to relax and be on time for the party\, so this should be a short to mod
 erate day.\n\nHowever\, don't think that means this won't be pretty tough 
 going - please expect serious bush bashing and difficult off-track walk
 ing and scrambling\, with some exposure to heights. I have no doubt we wil
 l end up covered in dirt and waist deep in scrub sliding around on a 45 de
 gree slope. Fortunately\, there are no ticks in the upper Blue Mountains (
 hooray!) however there might be leeches.\n\nEquipment List\n\n	Tough shoes
  and socks.\n	Lots of water (2-3L) and snacks\, packed lunch\n	Long sleeve
 s and shirt HIGHLY recommended\n	Gaiters and gloves if you like to use t
 hose\n
