DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe K2K (Katoomba to Kanangra) walk is THE classic challeng
 ing hike in the Blue Mountains\, covering 45km of some of the best scenery
  in the region and 2 national parks over 3 days.\n\nSave the date of the J
 une long weekend to tackle this beast. Good fitness and overnight hiking e
 xperience are required as we will be covering pretty rugged terrain and th
 ere is no visible track in places. Many parties have gotten lost here over
  the years so this will also be a great chance to practice your navigation
  skills in a real environment.\n\nThe plan is to get enough people signed 
 up to avoid the 4-hour car shuffle and hike in 2 groups\, one starting fro
 m either end\, and using the each other's cars to get back to civilisation
  at the end of the trail. This means that we will aim to all meet for lunc
 h in the middle on the second day\, but otherwise the 2 groups will be ind
 ependent on the trail.\n\nIn the comments please let me know what multi-da
 y hikes you've done\, why you're keen for the K2K\, and if you have a car\
 , whether you have 2 sets of keys for it.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nMore details will
