DESCRIPTION:Hey All\,\n\nBeck and I are running a nice little day hike alon
 g a stretch of the Great North Walk. Should be quite pretty\, with some wa
 lking along ridges and nice water views. This is a great way for those wan
 ting to familiarize with the Central Coast country.\n\nNo experience neces
 sary. All are welcome! The track is well marked most of the way and the pa
 ce shouldn't be too demanding. This should be quite a nice hike with train
  stations at beginning and end. There is also rumored to be a pub where we
  can have a nice bit of respite after!\n\nTrack notes/More Info\n\nThis is
  a day hike\, so there should be no need for sleeping bags\, tents etc.\n\

  forecast for this week\, so its pretty likely that you'll want this\n	Wat
 er - at least 2L is a safe bet\n	Lunch/Snacks - there are be bbq facilitie
 s along the way but don't depend on us being able to use them\n	Comfortabl
 e Shoes/Boots and optimally thick non-cotton socks.\n	Warm jumper\n	Breath
 able clothing\n	Insect repellant (if you have it) - we may have some fun w
 ith leeches\n	Sunscreen/Hat\n	Swimmers - if you feel up for it\, there is 
 a nice swimming spot partway along\n	Money for pub (if you want a beer at 
 the end)\n\nGetting There\nWe plan to from anzac parade unsw around 8 am.
  You can meet us there\, but our official gathering spot will be Cowan Sta
 tion at 10am.\n\nI aim to catch the 8:45am train from Central Platform 12 
 - central coast and newcastle line.
