DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\nSIGNUPS WILL OPEN UP AT 9PM MONDAY 15/07\n\nSign up
  for ONE Saturday and ONE Sunday trip. If you do not get accepted on yo
 ur first choice trip then you may sign up for a different one. (Same forma
 t as Boree Log!). You must be signed up to the main event to sign up to in
 dividual trips\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVenture into Acoustic Pot if you are looking
  for the best acoustics in town\, where a short crawl will bring you to a 
 wide cylindrical shaft\, as if someone had used a giant apple corer in the
  ground. You'll descend down this 30m pitch\, before going for a scramble 
 down a vadose canyon and then a quick explore in the over-under squeeze an
 d the flattener. Return to the bottom of the pitch for a quick snack\, bef
 ore tackling the ascent out of the abyss.\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat YOU need:\n\n 	H
 elmet*\n 	Harness*\n 	Descender* - Inline (eg rap rack\, Petzl Stop) prefe
 rred*\n 	Chest Ascender*\n 	Hand Ascender*\n 	Safety Sling* (x3 if you don
 't have a chest harness and foot loop)\n 	Prusiks*\n 	At least 6 locking c
 arabiners*\n 	Headlight and spare batteries\n 	Spare light source + spare 
 batteries (a malfunction of primary light would be quite inconvenient)\n 	
 Shoes you're not afraid to get muddy / dirty\n 	Thermal top &amp\; thermal
  bottoms\n 	Small bottle of water\n 	Personal medications (epipen\, inhale
 r etc)\n 	Dry bag\n 	Snacks / small lunch\n 	Old shirt / pants / overalls 
 you can wear inside the cave\n 	Small backpack to carry your things\n 	Glo
 ves (eg gardening gloves) - optional\n 	Soft knee pads - optional\n\n*Thes
 e can be borrowed from the club on the morning of\n\n\n\nAcoustic Pot is a
 n intermediate caving trip\, where prior vertical rope skills is preferred
 ! When signing up for this trip\, please make sure to include a) any previ
 ous abseiling and ascending experience\, and b) what gear you will need to
  borrow and c) what your favourite snack is!
