SUMMARY:[BP 2026] SUNDAY Intermediate - Acoustic Pot
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\nSIGNUPS WILL OPEN UP AT 9PM Tuesday 23/06\nSign up 
 for ONE Saturday and ONE Sunday trip. If you do not get accepted on you
 r first choice trip then you may sign up for a different one. (Same format
  as Boree Log!). You must be signed up to the main event to sign up to ind
 ividual trips\n\n\n**This is a Vertical Trip that requires SRT Rope Skills
  experience**\n\nVenture into Acoustic Pot if you are looking for the best
  acoustics in town\, where a short crawl will bring you to a wide cylindri
 cal shaft\, as if someone had used a giant apple corer in the ground. You'
 ll descend down this 30m pitch\, before going for a scramble down a vadose
  canyon and then a quick explore in the over-under squeeze and the flatten
 er. Return to the bottom of the pitch for a quick snack\, before tackling 
 the ascent out of the abyss.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat YOU need:\n\n 	Helmet*\n 	H
 eadlight and spare batteries\n 	Spare light source + spare batteries (a ma
 lfunction of primary light would be quite inconvenient)\n 	Shoes you're no
 t afraid to get muddy / dirty\n 	Small bottle of water\n 	Personal medicat
 ions (epipen\, inhaler etc)\n 	Snacks / small lunch\n 	Old shirt / pants /
  overalls you can wear inside the cave\n 	Small backpack to carry your thi
 ngs\n 	Gloves (eg gardening gloves)\n 	If you have your own SRT equipment\
 , please bring them along (eg Caving / Canyoning Harness\, Caving Descen
 der\, Chest Ascender\, Hand Ascender)\n\n*These can be borrowed from the
  club on the morning of\n\n\n\nAcoustic Pot is an intermediate caving trip
 \, where prior vertical rope skills is preferred! When signing up for this
  trip\, please make sure to include a) Have you ascended using Mechanical 
 ascenders before b) Do you have any prior experience ascending / descendin
 g past rebelays? If not\, are you planning to attend one of the SRT Ledge
