Our theme is Nautical Nonsense! We want to see your best ocean and nautical themed costumes. From Spongebob to Jack Sparr ow to dressing as an inflatable swan\, if it's in the ocean it's free game . Here are the details:\n\n\n\nFriday 13th of October\n\n Most people arrive Friday evening\n This year we will be run ning social activities so please arrive around 5pm if you'd like to join i n:\n\n Frisbee\n Slackline\n Soccer\n AND MORE!!\n Feel free to bring your own as well!\n\n\n We will be helping to organise car pooling to ge t everyone there (If you have a car\, make sure you let us know when you s ign up how many people you can take and where from!). Main event signups open Monday\, 2nd o f October\, at 7am!\n WAIT FOR APPROVAL! All main event approvals will be done by Thursday the 5th of October\n In your Signup request\, make sure to tell us if you have a car\, how many people you can take and where fr om\, and any dietary requirements (people with cars get preference in si gnups)\n Once you have been approved to the main event\, request to sign up to ONE Saturday trip and ONE Sunday trip only. Infomation on indivi dual day trips will be released on Friday October 6th 8am. Signups for the se will open Sunday October 8th at 9am! Get in quick\n Individual Trip s ignups will be approved by Wednesday October 11th at 10am\n Organise car pooling via the shared Google sheet (to be linked once attendees are con firmed) – find someone driving from near you and message them if they h ave a spot for you. Fill out the Google sheet once you have a spot\n Go s hopping for the gear the club does not provide (more details on this below \, including tents\, sleeping bags\, mats\, drinking water\, food\, head t orches etc)\n Get excited ‘cos you’re about to go away for the best w eekend!\n\n\n\n\nWhat if I just want to come and camp\, but not go on trip s\n\nThis is totally alright\, just let us know in your signup request tha t you are only coming to camp. Note\, you probably can’t change your min d about this when you get to Boree Log because all the individual trips wi ll be full by then!\n\n\n\nPRE-VOTING! Compulsory for Australian Citizens! !\nVoting is compulsory for Australian citizens aged 18 years or older. If you do not vote and don't have a valid and sufficient reason\, you may be fined.\n\nUnfortunately\, Boree Log this term has lined up with the Indig enous Voice Referendum date on October 14th. This means that all attendees who are Australian Citizens MUST PRE-VOTE before the weekend.\n\nHundred s of early voting centres will progressively open and be available over th e two weeks before voting day. In NSW\, early voting will begin Tuesday Oc tober 3rd.\n\nPlease use this site to find a polling location\, and go in and vote as normal. It is the same process as you would have gone through on the Referendum day.\n\nOtherwise you can apply for a postal vote.\n\nIf you have any concerns\, feel free to reach out to me\, Amelia Vasiliou\, on messenger or any of the exec.\n\n\n\nWhat do I need to bring! (IMPORTAN T)\n\n Food and Water – There is drinking water at the campground but please bring some from home and ensure you have a water container that can carry at least 2L for your day trips! A hundred people lining up for wate r isn't ideal. We will only be providing dinner on Saturday night. There i s also no power so bring a camping cooker or food that doesn’t need to b e cooked\n Tent – If you have your own tent\, please bring it. The clu b has a very limited number of tents that can be borrowed from the gear cu pboard\, these are first-come-first-served.\n Sleeping Bag and Sleeping M at – You need to bring your own as it may be chilly\, and a yoga mat/bla nket might not be a fun night’s sleep for you\n WARM CLOTHES – We’r e hoping for warm weather and clear skies\, please be prepared for cold ni ghts and rain if need be!\n All Technical Equipment (e.g. harnesses\, rop e\, helmets) will be provided by the club at BOREE LOG for those who don ’t have their own.
