 tings keen beans!\n\nBOREE LOG is HERE AGAIN\, just to get your mid sem br
 eak off to the perfect start.\n\nFor anyone who’s been to BOREE LOG befo
 re\, this event requires little introduction… but for anyone else\, this
  is UNSWOC’s premiere bi-annual event where we take a huge group of you 
 away for a weekend of incredible fun\, endless trips\, dinner\, camping an
 d more!\n\nThis event we will be in Cathedral Reserve Campground near Moun
 t Wilson in the Blue Mountains. Our theme is HALLOWEEN so get your spooky\
 , scary (but still warm please its frickin freezing there) costume ready!\
 nSound good? Here are the details:\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nFriday 14th of October:\n
 \n 	Most people arrive Friday evening\n 	We will be helping to organise ca
 r pooling to get everyone there (If you have a car\, make sure you let us 
 know when you sign up how many people you can take and where from!)\n 	Eve
 ryone cooks their own dinner Friday evening (we will provide dinner Saturd
 ay Night)\n\nSaturday 15th of October:\n\n 	We split into smaller groups f
 or various trips. These trips will leave early\, so it’s best to drive
  up Friday night.\n 	Once you have signed up to this main event\, you will
  be able to sign up to individual Saturday and Sunday trips (More details 
 below)\n 	Go on an epic hike\, climb\, canyon\, etc with your group. This 
 is the perfect opportunity to try a sport you’ve always wanted to.\n 	Ev
 eryone comes back to the campground in the evening\n 	DINNER AND PARTY!!!\
 n 	We will be providing dinner\, there will be a best-dressed prize for th
 e HALLOWEEN THEME\n 	PUNCH OF PUNISHMENT – nominate your friends who h
 ave done something silly\, stupid or slightly irresponsible on outdoor tri
 ps\n 	BYO Alcohol if you want drinks\n\nSunday 16th of October:\n\n 	Wake 
 up\, pack up and have breakfast (self-provided)\n 	Same as Saturday\, spli
 t off into smaller groups for another day of fun trips\n 	Each trip will b
 e heading straight back to Sydney that afternoon\, no coming back to the c
 ampground\, so don’t leave anything\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nHere is the trip sched
 ule: (subject to modifications)\n\n\n\nHow do I sign up:\n\n 	Log onto the
  website and request to sign up to this main event. Main event signups ope
 n Saturday\, 8th of October\, at 7am!\n 	WAIT FOR APPROVAL! All approvals
  will be done by Sunday the 9th of October\n 	In your Signup request\, mak
 e sure to tell us if you have a car\, how many people you can take and wh
 ere from\, and any dietary requirements (people with cars get preference
  in signups)\n 	Once you have been approved to the main event\, request to
  sign up to ONE Saturday trip and ONE Sunday trip only. Signups for th
 ese will open Monday the 10th at 7am! Get in quick\n 	Individual Trip si
 gnups will be approved by Tuesday the 11th of October\n 	Organize car pool
 ing via the shared Google sheet (to be linked once attendees are confirm
 ed) – find someone driving from near you and message them if they have 
 a spot for you. Fill out the Google sheet once you have a spot\n 	Go shopp
 ing for the gear the club does not provide (more details on this below\, i
 ncluding tents\, sleeping bags\, mats\, drinking water\, food\, head torch
 es etc)\n 	Get excited ‘cos you’re about to go away for the best weeke
 nd!\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nWhat if I just want to come and camp\, but not go on tri
 ps\n\n 	This is totally alright\, just let us know in your signup request 
 that you are only coming to camp. Note\, you probably can’t change your 
 mind about this when you get to Boree Log because all the individual trips
  will be full by then!\n\nWhat do I need to bring! (IMPORTANT)\n\n 	Food a
 nd Water – There is no drinking water at the campground so bring your
  own! We will only be providing dinner on Saturday night. There is also no
  power so bring a camping cooker or food that doesn’t need to be cooked\
 n 	Tent – If you have your own tent\, please bring it. The club has a v
 ery limited number of tents that can be borrowed from the gear cupboard\, 
 these are first-come-first-served.\n 	Sleeping Bag and Sleeping Mat – Y
 ou need to bring your own as it will be cold at this time of year\, and 
 a yoga mat/blanket will not be a fun night’s sleep for you\n 	WARM CLOTH
 ES – This BOREE LOG will be a lot colder than usual at one of the coldes
 t campsites around. As much as we’re hoping for warm weather and clear s
 kies\, please be prepared for cold nights and rain if need be!\n 	All Tech
 nical Equipment (e.g. harnesses\, rope\, helmets) will be provided by the 
 club at BOREE LOG for those who don’t have their own. You do not borrow 
 this gear from the gear cupboard beforehand.\n 	If you are canyoning\, bri
 ng your own wetsuit if you have one (though the club does have ones that
  can be borrowed)\, also bring thermals as it will be particularly cold in
  canyons this time of year!\n 	Check this packing list if you are unsure
  what else to bring.\n 	Personal items (e.g. toiletries\, face mask\, hea
 d torches\, rain jackets\, day pack\, personal first aid kits\, SUNSCREEN\
 , cutlery\, plate/bowl\, water bottle\, alcohol for Saturday night if you

 g a hairdryer/microwave?\n\n 	A: No\, we have no power at the campground.

  this trip is free for all club members. Petrol costs will be split per ca
 r\, expect approx. $10 per person each way.\n 	There are no gear hire fees

 OVID is still a thing. Please do not attend this event if you are unwell o
