 u are informed of all important information for the trip**\n\nBOREE LOG is
  BACK AGAIN\, just to get your mid semester break off to the perfect start
 .\n\nFor anyone who’s been to BOREE LOG before\, this event requires lit
 tle introduction… but for anyone else\, this is UNSWOC’s premiere bi-a
 nnual event where we take a huge group of you away for a weekend of incred
 ible fun\, endless trips\, dinner\, camping and more!\n\nThis event we wil
 l be at Cathedral Reserve Campground at Mt Wilson in the Blue Mountains. O
 ur theme is THRIFTY THREADS! This means that we we wanted to see your chea
 pest\, fanciest and funniest thrifted outfits fresh from the op-shop! Look
  out for some inspiration in upcoming facebook posts. There will be some R
 eel Rock tickets going out to best dressed and its always fun to dress up 
 and take part in the fun!\n\nSound good? Here are the details:\n\n\n\nFrid
 ay 15th of March\n\n 	Most people arrive Friday evening\n 	We will be help
 ing to organise car pooling to get everyone there (If you have a car\, mak
 e sure you let us know when you sign up how many people you can take and w
 here from!). The car-pooling spreadsheet will be released after everyone h
 as been approved\n 	Everyone cooks their own dinner Friday evening (we wil
 l provide dinner Saturday Night)\n\nSaturday 16th of March\n\n 	We split i
 nto smaller groups for various trips. These trips will leave early\, so 
 it’s best to drive up Friday night.\n 	Once you have signed up to this m
 ain event\, you will be able to sign up to individual Saturday and Sunday 
 trips (More details below)\n 	Go on an epic hike\, climb\, canyon\, etc wi
 th your group. This is the perfect opportunity to try a sport you’ve alw
 ays wanted to.\n 	Everyone comes back to the campground in the evening\n 	
 DINNER AND PARTY!!! \n 	We will be providing dinner\, there will be a bes
 t-dressed prize for our THRIFTY THREADS theme!\n 	PUNCH OF PUNISHMENT –
  Use this form to nominate your friends who have done something silly\, st
 upid or slightly irresponsible on outdoor trips\n 	BYO Alcohol if you want
  drinks\n\nSunday 17th of March\n\n 	Wake up\, pack up and have breakfast 
 (self-provided)\n 	Same as Saturday\, split off into smaller groups for an
 other day of fun trips\n 	Each trip will be heading straight back to Sydne
 y that afternoon\, no coming back to the campground\, so don’t leave any
 thing\n\n\n\n\nTrip Schedule\n\nWe have some amazing trips running as alwa

 bing\n 	And maybe some swimming if you'd like a chill day!\n\nThe trip sch

 \nCindy\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHow do I sign up:\n\n 	Log onto the website and req
 uest to sign up to this main event. Main event signups open Monday\, 26th
  of February\, at 7am!\n 	WAIT FOR APPROVAL! All main event approvals will
  be done by Friday the 1st of March\n 	In your Signup request\, make sure 
 to tell us if you have a car\, how many people you can take and where fro
 m\, and any dietary requirements (people with cars get preference in sig
 nups)\n 	Once you have been approved to the main event\, request to sign u
 p to ONE Saturday trip and ONE Sunday trip only. Information on indivi
 dual day trips will be released on Saturday March 2nd 8am. Signups for the
 se will open Monday March 4th at 8am! Get in quick\n 	Individual Trip sig
 nups will be approved by Friday March 8th at 10am\n 	Organise car pooling
  via the shared Google sheet (to be linked once attendees are confirmed)
  – find someone driving from near you and message them if they have a s
 pot for you. Fill out the Google sheet once you have a spot\n 	Go shopping
  for the gear the club does not provide (more details on this below\, incl
 uding tents\, sleeping bags\, mats\, drinking water\, food\, head torches 
 etc)\n 	Get excited ‘cos you’re about to go away for the best weekend!
 \n\n\n\n\nWhat if I just want to come and camp\, but not go on trips\n\nTh
 is is totally alright\, just let us know in your signup comment that you a
 re only coming to camp. We will also release a Camping Only Event closer t
 o the weekend. Note\, you probably can’t change your mind about this whe
 n you get to Boree Log because all the individual trips will be full by th
 en!\n\n\n\nWhat do I need to bring! (IMPORTANT)\n\n 	Food and Water –The
 re is NO drinking water at the campground so bring your own! Ensure you 
 have a water container that can carry at least 2L for your day trips! It c
 an get quite hot during the day. We will only be providing dinner on Satur
 day night. There is also no power so bring a camping cooker or food that d
 oesn’t need to be cooked\n 	Tent – If you have your own tent\, please
  bring it. The club has a very limited number of tents that can be borrowe
 d from the gear cupboard\, these are first-come-first-served.\n 	Sleeping 
 Bag and Sleeping Mat – You need to bring your own as it may be chilly\, 
 and a yoga mat/blanket might not be a fun night’s sleep for you\n 	WARM 
 CLOTHES – We’re hoping for warm weather and clear skies\, please be pr
 epared for cold nights and rain if need be!\n 	All Technical Equipment (e.
 g. harnesses\, rope\, helmets) will be provided by the club at BOREE LOG f
 or those who don’t have their own. You do not borrow this gear from the 
 gear cupboard beforehand.\n 	If you are canyoning\, bring your own wetsui
 t if you have one (though the club does have ones that can be borrowed)\, 
 also bring thermals as it will be particularly cold in canyons!\n 	Check t
 his packing list if you are unsure what else to bring.\n 	Personal items
  (e.g. toiletries\, face mask\, head torches\, rain jackets\, day pack\, 
 personal first aid kits\, SUNSCREEN\, cutlery\, plate/bowl\, water bottle
 \, alcohol for Saturday night if you want)\n 	If you’ve read all the inf
 o up to here\, thank you. Let us know an item you would love to find thrif
 ting and why that particular item (it just might improve your preference f
 or getting a spot cause we know you’ve actually read the info). Don't fo
 rget to also include how many spots you'll have in your car if applicable\
 , dietary requirements\, and if you will only be attending one of the days
 .\n\n\n\n\nOther Frequently Asked questions:\n\n 	Q: Can I bring a hairdry
 er/microwave?\n\n 	A: No\, we have no power at the campground. And yes we 
 have been asked this before\n\n\n 	Q: Are there any toilet facilities?\n\n
  	A: There are drop toilets. No running water. Please bring toilet paper!\
 n\n\n 	Q: Is there cell service at the campsite?\n\n 	A: There is NO RECE
 PTION at this site\n\n\n 	For more questions like this\, and actual answer

 ree for all club members. Petrol costs will be split per car\, expect appr
