Our theme is PRIDE so get your gorgeous\, spectacular (but still warm p lease it gets pretty damn cold there) costume ready!\nSound good? Here are the details:\n\n \;\n\nFriday 17th of March:\n\n Most people arrive Friday evening\n We will be helping to organise car pooling to get everyo ne there (If you have a car\, make sure you let us know when you sign up h ow many people you can take and where from!)\n Everyone cooks their own d inner Friday evening (we will provide dinner Saturday Night)\n\nSaturday 1 8th of March:\n\n We split into smaller groups for various trips. These trips will leave early\, so it’s best to drive up Friday night.\n Once you have signed up to this main event\, you will be able to sign up to in dividual Saturday and Sunday trips (More details below)\n Go on an epic h ike\, climb\, canyon\, etc with your group. Main event signups open Wednesday\, 8th of March\, at 10am !\n WAIT FOR APPROVAL! All main event approvals will be done by Friday th e 10th of March\n In your Signup request\, make sure to tell us if you h ave a car\, how many people you can take and where from\, and any dietary requirements (people with cars get preference in signups)\n Once you ha ve been approved to the main event\, request to sign up to ONE Saturday trip and ONE Sunday trip only. Signups for these will open Saturday the 11th at 10am! Get in quick\n Individual Trip signups will be approved by Tuesday the 14th of March at 9am\n Organize car pooling via the shared Google sheet (to be linked once attendees are confirmed) – find someon e driving from near you and message them if they have a spot for you. Fill out the Google sheet once you have a spot\n Go shopping for the gear the club does not provide (more details on this below\, including tents\, sle eping bags\, mats\, drinking water\, food\, head torches etc)\n Get excit ed ‘cos you’re about to go away for the best weekend!\n\n \;\n\nWh at if I just want to come and camp\, but not go on trips\n\n This is tota lly alright\, just let us know in your signup request that you are only co ming to camp. Note\, you probably can’t change your mind about this when you get to Boree Log because all the individual trips will be full by the n!\n\nWhat do I need to bring! (IMPORTANT)\n\n Food and Water – There is no drinking water at the campground so bring your own! We will only b e providing dinner on Saturday night. There is also no power so bring a ca mping cooker or food that doesn’t need to be cooked\n Tent – If you have your own tent\, please bring it. The club has a very limited number o f tents that can be borrowed from the gear cupboard\, these are first-come -first-served.\n Sleeping Bag and Sleeping Mat – You need to bring you r own as it will be cold\, and a yoga mat/blanket will not be a fun night ’s sleep for you\n WARM CLOTHES – This BOREE LOG will be at one of th e coldest campsites around. As much as we’re hoping for warm weather and clear skies\, please be prepared for cold nights and rain if need be!\n All Technical Equipment (e.g. harnesses\, rope\, helmets) will be provided by the club at BOREE LOG for those who don’t have their own. You do not borrow this gear from the gear cupboard beforehand.\n If you are canyoni ng\, bring your own wetsuit if you have one (though the club does have on es that can be borrowed)\, also bring thermals as it will be particularly cold in canyons!\n Check this packing list if you are unsure what else to bring.\n Personal items (e.g. toiletries\, face mask\, head torches\, rain jackets\, day pack\, personal first aid kits\, SUNSCREEN\, cutlery\ , plate/bowl\, water bottle\, alcohol for Saturday night if you want)\n I f you’ve read all the info up to here\, thank you.
