DESCRIPTION:This trip will be the first time in our memory that Boree Log w
 ill feature Kayaking! You can be part of history!\n\nNote: You must be att
 ending the Boree Log event to attend this trip.\nNote: You must have atte
 nded a pool session to attend this trip.\n\nThe Gist:\nThis is a BEGINNER 
 TRIP! Friday evening we organise ourselves by fitting kayaks to individual
 s\, assigning gear\, hiring gear\, and putting the kayaks on roofs/in trai
 lers. Saturday morning we get ourselves ready and dressed in river clothes
 \, leave our dry gear in our tents and drive up to the put in\, get in the
  water\, paddle our merry way down the beautiful and fun Barrington River\
 , and then we exit the river at the campsite (how convenient!).\n\nThe Lis
 t:\nYou will personally need:\n- Warmth consisting of a wetsuit or drytop 
 . Can wear thermals underneath. Lots of thermals and a very good spray jac
 ket may suffice but if you capsize it's gonna be mighty cold. Probably no 
 club wetsuits available.\n- Shoes\, preferably slim fitting (there isn't m
 uch room in a kayak)\, grippy\, and you're happy to get wet. Like canyonin
 g\, volleys are tops.\n- Dry bag\, optional depending on how wet you like 
 your lunch. Can be substituted with lots of plastic bags.\n- Lunch. We'll 
 probably have a quick lunch halfway down.\n- Water Bottle. Really should h
 ave some sort of ring or strap for attaching so that it doesn't fall out o
 f your boat.\nEquipment. If you have any of the following or are able to b
 orrow some please do\; the club does not have enough. We will be renting e
 quipment as needed however anything you can bring will be appreciated.\n- 
 Whitewater Helmet.\n- PFD (Personal Flotation Device\, AKA Lifejacket).\n-
  Spray Deck.\n- Paddle\n- Kayak\n\n- Do NOT wear cotton (except undies). P
 unishable by punch.\n- Do not bring keys/phones/wallets\, we're in the bus
 h\, they're next to useless and easily lost\n\nAny questions feel free to
