SUMMARY:Boree Log - Rodriguez pass hiking trip
DESCRIPTION:Hey guys!\nThis is a breathtaking hike through the blue mountai
 ns national park. We will be starting at Evan's lookout in Blackheath then
  weaving down into the valley\, passing amazing waterfalls and scrambling 
 along besides beautiful creeks\, stopping at Junction Rock for lunch and t
 hen finally making our way back up to the scenic cliff top walk. This is a
  6-7 hour hike which will cover 11kms in distance and 1 km in altitude! Th
 e changing altitude means we'll get to see lots of different type of veget
 ation and the rain we've been having will mean the walk will be particular
 ly lush and beautiful!!\n\nOk here are the important details:\n\nSkills re
 quired:\n-None. We wont be in a rush so there will be no problem slowing d
 own for people who are having trouble.\n\nEquipment:\n-Hiking shoes or com
 fortable joggers\n-Sunscreen and possibly a hat.\n-Layered clothes. Depend
 ing on the weather it could be very cold in the morning\, but we will get 
 VERY hot whilst walking. So make sure you wear a singlet or something unde
 r your warmer layers so you can take them off while we walk.\n-Swimmers! T
 here is a place to swim at our lunch stop.\n-Lunch and snacks. Keep your e
 nergy levels up or your body will be a wreck on Sunday and wont enjoy your
  Sunday trip.\n-LOTS of water. Around 2 Litres\n\nPlan of attack:\n-We wil
 l get together at the camp ground around 8.30am on Saturday morning to mak
 e sure we have everyone\, and everyone is prepared for the day. I would li
 ke to leave the camp ground by 9am.\n-We will then organise ourselves into
  cars and convoy down to Evan's lookout. If there is anyone driving  stra
 ight down from Sydney meet us here at around 9.30am. I would like to start
  the walk at 10am at the latest.\n-We will then do the hike\, have an AMAZ
 ING time and then mosey on back to the camp ground to get ready for Saturd
 ay night!!\n\nSee you guys there!
