 Get SUPER MEGA KEEN because the most amazing weekend of the year is here! 
 To those of you familiar\, no description is required. To the new people 
 Boree Log is the club’s bi-annual trip where EVERYONE is encouraged to c
 ome out to the great outdoors to participate in Climbing\, Canyoning\, Bus
 hwalking\, Caving\, Slack-lining or whatever takes your fancy! Never mind
  if you have no experience with these things\, this is your chance to give
  it a go!\n\n(like all our trips you need to be a current member to attend
 )\n\nLOCATION: \n\nNewnes campground (Wolgan Rd) – https://goo.gl/maps/
 yby3LwvjMoZw76saA\n\nSCHEDULE:\n\n 	FRIDAY NIGHT:\n\n 	Everyone drives to 
 Newnes Campground and camps. You need to arrange your own lifts on the Bor
 ee Log FB transport Page – remember to split petrol costs with the other
  people in your car.\n 	There is no phone service at the campsite so keep 
 this in mind!\n\n\n 	SATURDAY DAYTIME:\n\n 	Climbing/canyoning/bushwalking
 /Slacklining/Caving – whatever trip you sign up for (note that you need 
 to sign up to THIS EVENT to get a spot on Boree Log\, and then you need to
  SIGN UP SEPARATELY to individual trips posted on this website. Max 1 trip
  per day)\n\n\n 	SATURDAY NIGHT: THEMED PARTY NIGHT!\n\n 	On Saturday nigh
 t we’ll feast (provided)* and FIESTA!\n 	Theme: Teenager Days! Bring you
 r best costume!\n 	There will also be Punch of Punishment. Don’t forget 
 to nominate any friends who have done silly or humorous things during the 
 year!\n 	BYO alcohol\n 	*Food is only provided on Saturday night. PLEASE B
 RING YOUR OWN FOOD for the rest of the weekend\n\n\n 	SUNDAY DAYTIME:\n\n 
 	Climbing/canyoning/bushwalking/Slacklining/Caving – whatever you sign u

 d driving back to Sydney (your responsibility to arrange transport with th
 ose on the same trips as you)\n\n\n\n\n\nSO WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?:\n\n 	Lo
 gin to the website. Sign up to this Boree Log event. Wait for approval. Pe
 ople with cars will get preference so please bring your car!\n 	Once your 
 spot has been approved\, LOOK OUT FOR INDIVIDUAL TRIPS on to be posted on
  Friday 18th Oct 9 am – sign up to these on the website (ONLY ONE TRIP 
 for Saturday and ONE for Sunday).\n 	Wait for approval from individual tri
 ps.\n 	Arrange transport (see Facebook BL Transport Page to find people wi
 th cars)\n 	Go shopping for gear the club doesn’t provide (e.g. sleeping
  mats\, sleeping bag\, thermals\, head-torch\, etc.) + make sure you have 
 food and alcohol and WATER for the weekend + get a COSTUME!!\n 	Come along
 \, meet new people and have fun! 😀\n\nWHAT IF I JUST WANT TO CHILL?: 
 Places on the trip are limited because there are only so many trip leaders
  to run day trips. BUT…If all you want is to come for a camping trip\, c
 hill at the campsite and slackline\, party\, meet new people etc.\, then s
 pecify “Camping only\, NO trips” in the comments section\, and we are 
 happy to have extra company – i.e. you can have a spot even if the event
  is full 🙂 (BUT…if you do choose this option\, you CANNOT change yo
 ur mind later and try to sign up for trips later)\n\nWHAT TO BRING:\n\n 	B
 RING WATER and FOOD!! –  NO WATER PROVIDED AT CAMPSITE\n 	Cultery and 
 bowl/plate for Saturday night\n 	CASH for Sharing Petrol Costs\n 	Sleeping
  bag and sleeping mat (you can get cheap ones from Kmart\, Anaconda\, Deca
 thlon\, etc)\n 	WARM CLOTHES! – It is much colder than Sydney up there\n
  	If you are canyoning\, try to bring your own wetsuit because the club ca
 n’t guarantee we’ll have enough/your size. Also bring a PAIR OF SHORTS
  to protect the seat of the wetsuit\n\nIf you don’t know what to bring\,
  here’s a packing list. The club will be able to provide you technical e
 quipment\, but if you have your own wetsuits\, harnesses\, climbing gear e
 tc.\, please BRING IT\, because supplies are limited. The club will also h
 ave a number of tents for people to sleep in\, but again\, if you have you
 r own\, bring it also. The club has NO sleeping mats or sleeping bags. It
 ’ll be colder than in Sydney\, so at least bring a blanket and a yoga ma
 t if you don’t have a sleeping bag.\n\nNote:\n\n 	Toilet facilities – 
 drop toilets. No running water. Bring toilet paper!\n 	No electricity (so 
 no\, don’t bring your hairdryer)\, and No microwaves (yes we’ve been a
 sked both those questions before! :P)\n\nCOST:\n\n 	Boree Log is a FREE ev
 ent for UNSWOC members. No camping fees.\n 	If you car share: Petrol for y
 our driver (arrange this with the driver ahead of time and BRING THE CASH.
  Reasonable $10-$20 per way)\n\nSee you there! Love and adventure!\n\n\n\n
