 finally here!!!\n\nBOREE LOG is finally back\, just after term 1 exams\, a
 nd you don't want to miss this!\n\nFor anyone who's been to BOREE LOG befo
 re\, this event requires little introduction... but for anyone else\, this
  is UNSWOC's premiere bi-annual event where we take a huge group of you aw
 ay for a weekend of incredible fun\, endless trips\, dinner\, camping and 
 more!\n\nThis year we are going to Cathedral of Ferns campground in the Bl
 ue Mountains. The theme this year is POLAR so get your icy gear ready! Sou
 nd good? Here are the details:\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nFriday 13th of May:\n\n 	Most
  people arrive Friday evening\n 	We will be helping to organise car poolin
 g to get everyone there (If you have a car\, make sure you let us know whe
 n you sign up how many people you can take and where from!)\n 	Everyone co
 oks their own dinner Friday evening (we will provide dinner Saturday Night
 )\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nSaturday 14th of May:\n\n 	We split into smaller groups fo
 r various trips. These trips will leave early\, so it's best to drive up F
 riday night.\n 	Once you have signed up to this main event\, you will be a
 ble to sign up to individual Saturday and Sunday trips (More details below
 )\n 	Go on an epic hike\, climb\, canyon\, boulder etc with your group. Th
 is is the perfect opportunity to try a sport you've always wanted to.\n 	E
 veryone comes back to the campground in the evening\n 	DINNER AND PARTY!!!
 \n 	We will be providing dinner\, there will be a best-dressed prize for t
 he POLAR THEME\n 	PUNCH OF PUNISHMENT - nominate your friends who have don
 e something silly\, stupid or slightly irresponsible on outdoor trips\n 	B
 YO Alcohol if you want drinks\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nSunday 15th of May:\n\n 	Wake 
 up\, pack up and have breakfast (self-provided)\n 	Same as Saturday\, spli
 t off into smaller groups for another day of fun trips\n 	Each trip will b
 e heading straight back to Sydney that afternoon\, no coming back to the c
 ampground\, so don't leave anything\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nHere is the trip schedul
 e: (subject to modifications)\n\n\n\nHow do I sign up:\n\n 	Log onto the w
 ebsite and request to sign up to this main event. Main event signups open 
 Sunday\, 1st of May\, at 6pm!\n 	WAIT FOR APPROVAL! All approvals will be 
 done by Thursday 5th of May\n 	In your Signup request\, make sure to tell 
 us if you have a car\, how many people you can take and where from\, and a
 ny dietary requirements (people with cars get preference in signups)\n 	On
 ce you have been approved to the main event\, request to sign up to ONE Sa
 turday trip and ONE Sunday trip only. Signups for these will open Friday 6
 th at 9am! Get in quick\n 	Individual Trip signups will be approved by Wed
 nesday the 11th\n 	Organize car pooling via the shared Google sheet - find
  someone driving from near you and message them if they have a spot for yo
 u. Fill out the Google sheet once you have a spot\n 	Go shopping for the g
 ear the club does not provide (more details on this below\, including tent
 s\, sleeping bags\, mats\, drinking water\, food\, head torches etc)\n 	Ge
 t excited 'cos you're about to go away for the best weekend!\n\n&nbsp\;\n\
 nWhat if I just want to come and camp\, but not go on trips\n\n 	This is t
 otally alright\, just let us know in your signup request that you are only
  coming to camp. Note\, you probably can't change your mind about this whe
 n you get to Boree Log because all the individual trips will be full by th
 en!\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nWhat do I need to bring! (IMPORTANT)\n\n 	Food and Water
  - There is no drinking water at the campground so bring your own! We will
  only be providing dinner on Saturday night. There is also no power so bri
 ng a camping cooker or food that doesn't need to be cooked\n 	Tent - If yo
 u have your own tent\, please bring it. The club has a very limited number
  of tents that can be borrowed from the gear cupboard\, these are first-co
 me-first-served.\n 	Sleeping Bag and Sleeping Mat - You need to bring your
  own as it will be cold at this time of year\, and a yoga mat/blanket will
  not be a fun night's sleep for you\n 	WARM CLOTHES - This BOREE LOG will 
 be a lot colder than usual as it's later in the year. As much as we're hop
 ing for warm weather and clear skies\, please be prepared for cold nights 
 and rain if need be!\n 	Technical equipment (e.g. harnesses\, rope\, helme
 ts) will be provided by the club at BOREE LOG for those that don't have th
 eir own. You do not borrow this gear from the gear cupboard beforehand.\n 
 	If you are canyoning\, bring your own wetsuit if you have one (though the
  club does have ones that can be borrowed)\, also bring thermals as it wil
 l be particularly cold in canyons this time of year!\n 	Check this packing
  list if you are unsure what else to bring.\n 	Personal items (e.g. toilet
 ries\, face mask\, head torches\, rain jackets\, day pack\, personal first
  aid kits\, SUNSCREEN\, cutlery\, plate/bowl\, water bottle\, alcohol for 
 Saturday night if you want)\n 	If you've read all the info up to here\, th

  comment (it just might improve your preference for getting a spot cause I
  know you've actually read the info)\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nOther Frequently Asked 
 questions:\n\n 	Q: Can I bring a hairdryer/microwave?\n\n 	A: No\, we have
  no power at the campground. And yes we have been asked this before\n\n\n

 bsp\;\n\nCost:\n\n 	Apart from petrol\, this trip is free for all club mem
 bers. Petrol costs will be split per car\, expect approx. $10 per person e
 ach way.\n 	There are no gear hire fees as this is a club event\n\n&nbsp\;
 \n\nSafety and COVID:\n\n 	We are all aware that COVID is still a thing. P
 lease do not attend this event if you are unwell or a close contact.\n 	CO
 VID Vaccination Required\, refer to the club's COVID policy on the website
  for more info\n 	If you become unwell during BOREE LOG please let one of 
 the exec members present know\, we will have a few rat tests on hand.\n\n&
