SUMMARY:Saturday Beginners Canyoning - Boree Log - Upper Gloucester Falls
DESCRIPTION:Hey Canyoneers! We are running a beginners canyon trip for Bore
 e Log at Gloucester Falls upper. The canyon trip itself is fairly short an
 d can likely be done in just a few hours but the trip will take most of th
 e day (about 6hrs). There are 6 spots open to beginners for this trip and
  it might be possible to open up more spots depending on interest and avai
 lable transport. There are two abseils\, pools\, jumps and swims in the sh
 ort segment of canyon that we are doing. Following is a list of what you w
 ill need for the trip. You will either need to source this gear from the c
 lub or yourself.\n\n\n	Harness\n	Helmet\n	Belay Plate/Descender\n	2 x Cara
 biners\n	Safety Sling\n	Wetsuit (also can be borrowed from the club\, alte
 rnatively ask around if anyone is willing to lend you theirs)\n	Head Torch
 \n	Woollen or Synthetic Socks (spare pair is good too\, no cotton!)\n	Ther
 mals (bottoms really are a must\, either to keep dry in a drybag or under 
 wetsuits)\n	Canyon worthy shoes (Volleys are good for grip and cheap)\n	A 
 backpack that can get wet or submerged in water\n	A dry bag if you have on
 e (these can usually be shared)\n	Food (lunch) &amp\; Water for the day (s
 nacks as well\, also any extra that you feel you can carry)\n	Petrol money
  for those lovely people that get us there and back\n	Some spare clothes t
