SUMMARY:Beginners Canyon - Blue Mountains
DESCRIPTION:Hey\,\n\nMark and I are going to run a beginners canyon on the 
 6th of October\, which is the Monday of the Labour Day long weekend. We're
  thinking either Empress Canyon or if we can get an extra driver\, a Mt W
 ilson canyon\, probably Water Dragon. These are wet canyons and both conta
 in abseils so abseiling experience is recommended but not necessary\, we c
 an teach/look after you\, along with a reasonable level of fitness.\n\n&nb
 sp\;\n\nGear:\n\n	Helmet\n	Harness\n	Descender\n	2 x carabiner\n	Safety Sl
 ing\n	(All of which can be borrowed from the club)\n	Wetsuit\, the club ha
 s a few of these\n	Wollen or synthetic socks\n	Thermals\n	Canyoning approp
 riate shoes (e.g. volleys)\n	Backpack\n	Drybag - one between three will do
 \n	Half a day's food and water\n	Petrol Money\n	A spare change of clothes\
 n\nPlease mention if you can drive\, otherwise we'll take the train up to 
 Wentworth Falls Station and walk from there.\n\nIf you have any questions
