SUMMARY:Beginner Bouldering - Frontline [FULL]
DESCRIPTION:Contrary to popular belief within the club\, bouldering is inde
 ed “real climbing” and demands the same respect as sport climbing. In 
 an attempt to prove its superiority\, Gabe\, Rachel and I (Oscar) will be 
 running a bouldering trip to Frontline this coming Friday. To avoid the su
 mmer heat we’ll meet at 3 pm and climb through the afternoon into the ev
 ening.\n\nThis a beginner trip so no outdoor climbing experience is requir
 ed. We’ll demonstrate good spotting and pad laying technique to teach ho
 w to boulder outdoors safely.\n\nFrontline is the largest bouldering crag 
 in Sydney and has a massive variety of climbs for all levels so we’ll wo
 rk out which climbs everyone wants to do on the day depending on the exper
 ience of the group.\n\nWe’ll start off at the Left Hand Side and then wo

 to bring: \n\n 	Climbing shoes* + chalk (optional)\n 	2L of water\n 	Food
 \n 	Sunscreen\n 	Walking shoes (for the short approach)\n 	Head torch (if 
 it gets dark for the walk out)\n\n* If you need climbing shoes let us know
  in the comments as well as your shoe size so we can pick them up from the
  gear cupboard for you\n\nWe will be bringing the club’s bouldering mats
  but if you own one feel free to bring it along\, the more mats the merrie
