 to reach climbs that require a rap in (Whale of a Time)? This training ses
 sion will teach you the vital skill of abseiling!\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n[caption i

 e a first timer\, or brush up on your skills that have been cobwebbed by t
 he rain! Zee and I will teach you the basics on:\n\n 	How to be safe at an
  anchor\n 	Setting yourself up for an abseil using both ATC and Figure &am
 p\; style descenders\n 	"ABCDE" Safety Check\n 	 Abseiling a simple singl
 e pitch abseil on both Single strand &amp\; Double strand\n 	Getting off t
 he rope\n 	Bottom / Fireman's belay your mates\n\nWhat YOU’LL need to br
 ing:\n\n 	Harness*\n 	Helmet*\n 	Safety sling*\n 	3 x Locking Carabiner*\n
  	ATC*\n 	Figure 8*\n 	Prusik*  + Locking Carabiner* (if you would like t
 o learn how to prusik)\n 	Comfortable close-toed shoes (runners are perfec
 t)\n 	Drink bottle full of water\n 	Rain jacket / rain pants + warm clothe
 s (forecasted to drizzle a little)\n\n* Can be borrowed from Gear Sheds\n\
 nLeave a comment on your favourite megafauna so I know you've read this po
 st :)\n\nUnless the forecast changes to 100mm of rain\, this trip will be 
 run.\nLocation: Coogee Beach (Quarry Reserve Park in Maroubra if it is too
