SUMMARY:A Beginners Guide to the Underground World
DESCRIPTION:\n\nHello there!\n\nAre you curious about the hidden world unde
 rground? If you are\, I will be running a completely beginner friendly tra
 ining session on caving to help you get one of those many sought after spo
 ts on the upcoming caving trips! The training session will be run at the L
 edge. We will cover most things caving (except for abseiling). The session
  will be broken into two parts:\n\nPart 1: Stuff you should know\nPart 1 w
 ill start with some club caving videos to give you an idea of what caving 
 is and get you psyched! Part 1 will run from 5-6pm\, and we will cover:\n\
 n 	What to expect\n 	What to take\n 	How to navigate underground\n 	Cave s
 afety and etiquette\n 	Some fun facts\n\nPart 2: Ascending\nPart 2 will st
 art around 6pm\, and is more hands on covering topics going upwards. You w
 ill learn and get the chance to practice:\n\n 	Jumaring\n 	The easy (and s
 afe) way to climb a cave ladder.\n 	Spotting a climber\n\nPlease comment w
 hich part you wish to attend (you are welcome to attend one or both). You 
 must be signed up to the Ledge event to come along to this training sessio
 n\, as it will be held at the Ledge.
