SUMMARY:Tues the 20th canyoning [FULL]
DESCRIPTION:Behold canyoning season is upon us!\n\nMatt and I (Dion) are ru
 nning a beginners canyon to Lower Bowen’s Creek North. It’s a short\, 
 fun\, really pretty canyon with a couple of abseils and small jumps along 
 the way. Experience in abseiling is not necessary but preferred.\n\nGEAR 
 - comment or message me (Dion Russ or Matthew Notarangelo) on FB your wets
 uit size and what else you need from the club and if the club has it we'll
  get it for you. Club stuff has an asterisk below - *\n\n 	Wetsuit *\n 	H
 elmet*\n 	Harness*\n 	ATC and locking biner*\n 	Safety sling and locking b
 iner*\n 	Woollen socks and closed shoes that drain well (volleys are recom
 mended\, otherwise any shoes with good drainage and grip will do the trick
 . Bowens is pretty slippery!)\n 	Drybag (if you don't have one\, they're p
 retty cheap from any outdoors store or borrow from a friend)\n 	Lunch and 
 at least 1.5L of water\n 	A backpack you don't mind getting wet and throwi
 ng around\n 	Towel and dry clothes for the trip home (including shoes and 
 socks)\n 	(Optional) thermals to wear underneath your wetsuit. The water i
 n  Bowens was icy when we went two weeks ago so thermals are recommended\
 n 	Fuel money for your friendly driver\n\nWe'll create a FB thread once nu
