 n\nA 6hr beginner-friendly rogaine is coming up in next month\, and it wou
 ld be great to see some UNSWOC faces there 😁\n\n\nWhat is a rogaine?\n\
 nEssentially a treasure hunt in the bush! You’ll get to put your navigat
 ion skills to the test\, using only a map and compass to find marked locat
 ions to score points. You’ve only got 6 hours though\, so don’t be bac
 k late!\nIf you’ve never tried rogaining before\, this is a great first 
 event! It combines a lovely course in pretty national park\, and the tradi
 tional rogaine environment (bush bashing).\n\n\n\n\n\nMore details here: W
 hat is Rogaining?.\n\n\n 	When? 9am to 3pm\, Sunday 14 June\n 	Where? Glen
 brook\, Blue Mountains National Park - about 1 hour west\n 	How much? $50 
 for a student concession\, else $70.\n 	Signups close? Sunday 31st May (s

 The purpose of creating an UNSWOC event is to try and encourage as many UN
 SWOCer’s to get involved as possible! It means we can help club members 
 find a team and perhaps even have some friendly intra-club competition 
 😉\n\nIf you would like to participate in the event\, but do not have a 
 team\, don't worry! Sign up to this event and I’ll organise club teams.\
 n\nOnce the teams have be sorted\, you’ll be responsible for signing up 
 to the official event here: 2026 Paddy Pallin - NSW Rogaining. If you alre

 ateway to the Mountains” is a great intro to the sport\, and a welcome c
 hallenge for veterans. The off-track will be a mix of gentle open forest\,
  rock platforms\, and bouldery creeks – but also some bushfire regrowth 
 that will fight back against the unwary. The trails themselves will also n
 ot disappoint\, with some of the most iconic walking trails and lookouts w
 ithin an hour of Sydney.\n\nHighlights:\n\n Lookouts galore – Nepean ri
 ver\, Emu Plains\, Mt. Portal… you’ll be hard pressed to visit them al
 l.\n\n Euroka creek and Glenbrook Causeway.\n\n Red hands cave and grind
 ing grooves.
