Any queries about the AGM or Committee should be directed to president[at]unswoc.org or secretary[at]unswoc.org.
Just in case you haven't noticed, its just about time for the next club BBQ!
This means FREE food, CHEAP beers ($1) and lots and lots of exciting stories about past and upcoming trips.
Where?
Sam Cracknell Pavillion

Tuesday 5 May 2009 @ 7.30pm
As a special treat, we will even be permitting members to vote for who they want to be on the Exec committee for the next year!
So come along, share some tales about life in the outdoors, enjoy a snag and beer and vote in next years exec.
If anyone's interested in getting more involved with the club, do talk to one of the execs about how you can help - whether by helping out on the committee or any other way.
It's time for our next BBQ!
When?
Tuesday, 7 April 2009
Where?
As usual at Sam Cracknell
What?
We'll have a short presentation and the usual free food and $1 drinks (beer included).
It's also the time to talk about past and future trips, sign up to the club if you haven't already and general socialising.
See you there.
P/S: Just a note to all new members who have signed up BEFORE Boree Log, you should already have your website login emailed to you. If not, drop me an email at secretary (at) unswoc (dot) org with your name and student number.
Hi all,
Thanks to all those who came to Boree Log and made it such a fun weekend. Hope everyone enjoyed themselves and had a taste of what the club does. We hope to see more of you.
For those who went on the canyoning trips, photos can be found here:

Hi all,
(1) For those who've signed up in February (i.e. at O-week and that Friday at The Ledge), you should've gotten your login details by now. If you haven't, drop me an email.
(2) For those who've signed up at our BBQ and at The Ledge since then, we're still processing the memberships, please be patient.
Boree Log - we will be camping at Mt Wilson. Transport will be organised by the individual trip leaders - either leaving Friday evening or Saturday evening. The club will provide Saturday dinner, bring all other meals. There are club gear available to be borrowed, just let the trip leaders know what you need when you sign up.
If you haven't received login details and fall into group (2) and would like to attend Boree Log, just email the leader of the trip you are interested in joining on Saturday to organise transport up to the mountains (and so we know how much food to cater for!).
Cheers,
Su Li
Thanks to everyone who helped out at O-week!
A big welcome to our new members who joined us. Please be patient as we work through the data entry and get everyone onto the database. You should get an email with login details by the end of next week. Contact me if you haven't received anything by then.
We'll be having our first BBQ next Tuesday - see more details in the trip Ian's put up. Do come along to meet us if you're new (for those who'd like to sign up to the club, that'd be a great time to do it too) or if you're an old member, come back and tell us what you've done over summer.
Coming up - we'll be having Boree Log on the weekend of the 21-22 March. Please keep that weekend free. More details will be up soon.
See you soon,
Su Li
O'week is in 2 weeks (week starting the 23rd) and the Outdoors Club will again be having a stall to sign up new enthusiastic members.
We really need some help with manning the stall so if you are around Uni and could spare even an hour or two (10am - 4pm) to help out on the stall it would be greatly appreciated. Just let me know what time you would be available and I will put your name on the roster.
On another note, our first barbeque of the year will be in the second week of March, so keep your eye for more details on the website.
Thanks!
Su Li
